Forward in Faith provide a Priest Chaplain to take weekday services of Divine Worship, to provide pastoral care to Forward in Faith and to all who visit this holy place.
The Chaplain is available to talk one-to-one with anyone who visits us, in his office or in the English Chapel as appropriate.
He is here to provide pastoral support to anyone who needs it, and it’s what we do best.
The Chaplain is available to all local residents, visitors and students in the area, of all faiths and none. He is interested in tackling the big philosophical questions of life, and also in the minutiae of every day living … and everything in between.
The Chaplain is on-site at the English Chapel from Tuesday to Thursday and has a varied availability, so we would encourage you to pop in, if you’re in the area on those days. If not, feel free to simply email the Chaplain and he will get back to you.
He is also available to meet, by appointment, either in person or online (Microsoft Teams). If you would like to just have an email conversation, or a chat on the phone, with someone, that’s fine too.
The Chaplain is also very happy to receive all and any prayer requests for people (first names only for confidentiality), or places or circumstances that you’d welcome prayer for – email us and we will intercede for you.

Meet The Chaplain
Fr Peter Hudson SSC is chaplain of the English Chapel and has an active ministry with the students and staff of the University of London. As well as members of Forward in Faith and The Society
Fr Peter is in the chapel between Tuesday and Thursday. His email address is: chaplain@forwardinfaith.com
He is also Assistant Priest at Saint Stephen with Saint Mark in Lewisham (Cressingham Road, London SE13 5AG), where he has been since 2007. He is also administrative assistant to the Area Dean of Lewisham. Fr Peter often provides cover for parishes which are without a priest.
